Lessons In Business. #Trust

When I think about the last 25-years, a key learning for me is to not be afraid of walking away from a deal. Like life, sometimes business relationships run their course, and their values change or become misaligned. Taking a break, pausing or walking away can yield a greater good, because your journey in business is more than dollars.

Let's talk about values. We hear a lot about them: values of a person, values of a charity, values of a Not For profit... These guiding principles dictate behavior and can help people understand the difference between right and wrong.

Importantly, the core values of a business can help determine if the business is on the right path and on the way to achieving their goals and can create an unwavering pathway to support the culture. There are many variations of core values but they need to be more than words on a page.

Values go beyond just the customer. They relate to suppliers, partners, company culture, and most importantly people.

One of our core values at Feeney Marketing is trust. Our vision is to become the most trusted and respected marketing agency in South Australia.

Trust is a two-way street and should never be underestimated. At Feeney Marketing, we trust each other as much as we trust our clients. And so we humbly ask them to trust us! Trust that we are passionate about what we do. Trust that we have the experience and know what we are doing. Trust that we will take care of their business. And of course, trust that we will go the extra distance.

I hope you enjoyed #trust.
