FEENEY revisited the brand identity for Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia who is the peak body representing & advocating for community controlled health services in South Australia.

We were engaged by AHCSA to refresh their existing logo and to consolidate the brand for their internal staff and external stakeholders. A defined brand and rules for utilisation was a resource the organisation did not have up until that point which has resulted in confusion of use and incorrect application.

To begin the process, a creative workshop was undertaken to uncover and define the AHCSA brand which provided us with a set of outcomes to be achieved. Within this discovery session, it was essential that we understood the organisation, its values, purpose and direction as well as the people it supports in order to create a culturally appropriate and correct set of guidelines.

From the initial workshop it was clear that the organisation needed an in-depth set of brand guidelines that will not only strengthen the brand through correct and consistent use internally and externally, but also unite and empower staff within the organisation with a brand they can be proud to represent and feel confident to use.

The brand guidelines outline every aspect of the brand from logo, fonts, colours, correct use and photographic guidelines as well as messaging and sub brand rules. These guidelines will ensure the brand is applied across all applications in a consistent and correct manner for stronger brand recall and clear communication.

After the brand guidelines were produced, supporting resources such as stationery, document templates, social media and digital templates were created to set AHCSA up with a suite of branded assets for immediate implementation.
